The battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 foldable phone is not expected to increase compared to the previous generation.
the GalaxyClub report said that the device will likely still carry a 4,300 mAh battery capacity, the same as that used on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7.
If the information is accurate, this would be the first time in recent generations that Samsung has not increased the battery capacity on its compact foldable phone line.
Like the previous series, this clamshell foldable phone is expected to continue using two separate battery cells that work simultaneously.
The capacities of the two cells are approximately 1,150 mAh and 3,024 mAh, respectively, resulting in a measured capacity of approximately 4,174 mAh. This figure is typically rounded up by Samsung to a typical capacity of 4,300 mAh.
