Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid, appreciated the fully cooperative attitude shown by digital platforms X and Bigo Live in fulfilling the obligations of Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic System Implementation in Child Protection.
"We appreciate the platforms that have been fully cooperative in fulfilling their compliance obligations, namely X and Bigo Live," said Meutya in a press conference at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Office.
The steps taken by the two platforms are seen as a form of concrete compliance that does not just stop at commitments, but has been realized in real system and policy adjustments.
