Persis Solo team doctor Dr. Iwan Wahyu Utomo explained the condition of goalkeeper Muhammad Riyandi after he suffered an incident during the match against Bali United.
Quoted from the club's official website, Saturday, Iwan explained that after the incident, Riyandi was immediately rushed to the hospital for further medical treatment because there was a suspicion of a head injury.
Iwan added that currently the condition of the former Barito Putera player is gradually improving although he is still under medical supervision.
"To update you on Riyandi's condition, he suffered a head injury from a fall, causing a slight impact to the bend of his neck. He is currently at JIH Hospital, conscious and able to walk around," explained Iwan.
In the match against Bali United, Riyandi had to be taken off due to an injury after colliding while securing the ball and was replaced by Vukasin Vranes.
