The standings for the second half of the 2026 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) season are set to change, following a 10-day competition break due to the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Qualifications.
The IBL website stated on Monday that Pelita Jaya still reigns at the top of the standings, after successfully sweeping half of the regular season, aka setting a 10-0 (win-loss) match record until the end of the seventh week.
David Singleton's squad has amassed a total of 20 points. In the final match of the week, Andakara Prastawa and his teammates defeated the Bogor Hornbills 81-75 at GMSB in Kuningan.
They were nearly defeated by the visiting team, but managed to come back in the fourth quarter to turn the score around.
Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung sits in second place in the league. Djordje Jovicic's squad has amassed a total of 19 points, with a 9-1 record.
The Flower City team defeated the 2025 IBL champions, Dewa United Banten, 92-88, at the Dewa United Arena in Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday (February 21). Meanwhile, the Bogor Hornbills are in third place with 18 points, thanks to an 8-2 record.
The squad led by Cesar Camara has made a surprising appearance this season, by entering the top three of the standings until the first half of the season.
Meanwhile, from the bottom of the board, Pacific Caesar Surabaya has become the antithesis of Pelita Jaya.
The squad coached by Andika Supriadi, often known as Coach Bedu, has yet to win a single match in 10 matches. They are bottom of the standings, sitting in 11th place.
However, after a 10-day break, Laskar Kenjeran has improved the squad by replacing foreign players.
They recruited Xavie Cannefax to replace Miguel Miranda who had to be out for a long time due to injury.
Besides Cannefax, Toluwalope Joseph Obasa was also recruited to replace Gregoryshon Magee, because his performance did not meet expectations.
