Persib Bandung player Thom Haye wants his team to capitalize on the experience from their first meeting against Persik Kediri in the 25th week of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium.
In the first meeting in early January, Persib dropped points in the final minutes when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Persik. Saddil Ramdani gave Persib the lead in the 68th minute, but the situation changed when he received a red card in the 81st minute.
With a lack of players, Maung Bandung struggled to hold back the White Tigers' attacks, which culminated in a goal scored by Muhamad Firly in the 90+6 minute.
"We had a tough away game in the first leg, but we ended up getting a point. So, we're trying to take the positives from that match," Haye said, as quoted on Persib's official website.
"We now have a good period to prepare. This is especially true since it's a home game, and everyone on the team is excited about the upcoming match," he added.
