Titan Run 2026 targets 6,000 runners for its decade-long celebration
The Titan Run is targeting participation of around 6,000 runners in the 2026 event, which will mark a decade since its inception in 2016.

The running race is scheduled to take place in the ICE BSD area, South Tangerang, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with a special celebratory atmosphere because it coincides with the momentum of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

"This year's target is actually the same as last year's, 6,000 participants, as we want to maintain the quality. We're not just providing a running event, but also providing food after the finish, especially durian," said Titan Run 2026 Project Director Ailiy, as quoted in a written.

The Titan Run is known for its distinctive 17.8-kilometer race category, which symbolizes August 17th, Indonesia's Independence Day. This number has been a hallmark of the event since its inception.

In addition to the 17.8 kilometer category, the committee also opened 10 kilometer and 5 kilometer categories which can be participated in by runners of various ability levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.

Project Lead Titan Run 2026 Vickers Gunawan said this year's race route will experience a number of improvements compared to previous events, including efforts to make the running track more sterile from vehicles.

"This year's route is definitely much better than last year's. We're also trying to keep it more clean, with fewer vehicles, so each runner can achieve their personal best at Titan Run 2026," said Vickers.

He added that the committee had also prepared supporting facilities for runners, such as water stations every 2.5 kilometers, ambulances at three points, and marshals on standby along the route.

The committee has prepared prizes for winners in each category. For the 17.8-kilometer race, first place will receive Rp10 million, second place Rp9 million, and third place Rp8 million.
