Vivo X300s is confirmed to be the smartphone from the X series that will have the largest battery ever released by the brand, with a capacity of 7,100mAH.
Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao confirmed the battery is part of the Blue Ocean Battery system, which uses fourth-generation silicon anode technology.
This upgrade brings a larger capacity compared to the previous generation, namely the Vivo X200s which was launched last year with a 6,200mAh battery.
In addition to the battery, Vivo also claims improvements to the cooling system. The X300s features a larger vapor chamber called Ice Pulse Fluid VC, which, combined with chipset enhancements , maintains stable performance under heavy workloads.
The device is also said to feature a number of other feature enhancements, including an updated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that's claimed to be around 15 percent faster. The sensor is also said to be capable of unlocking the phone even if the user's fingers are slightly wet.
