Coventry City ended a 25-year absence from the English Premier League with a 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers to secure promotion from the Championship.
Blackburn opened the scoring shortly after the start of the second half with a deflected shot from Japan's Ryoya Morishita.
Frank Lampard's Championship-leading side managed to salvage a draw thanks to a late header from Bobby Thomas in the game played at Ewood Park on Friday.
Coventry needed just one point to mathematically guarantee promotion to the top flight.
After the match ended in a 1-1 draw, Coventry players began celebrating their promotion, as well as wild scenes among the 7,500 fans who traveled to watch the match from the stadium stands.
Coventry's promotion to the top flight comes three rounds before the end of the league.
Coventry leads the First Division standings with 86 points from 43 games, 13 points ahead of third-placed Millwall, who can no longer catch them.
Ipswich Town, Millwall, Southampton and Middlesbrough are battling for second place, which qualifies directly for the Premier League.
Former Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard told Sky Sports television, "It was an unbelievable moment (when Thomas scored). We knew we were close to promotion, but to achieve it after 25 years, wow! It's amazing."
