Persis Solo has climbed out of the relegation zone after defeating Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC 2-1 in the 29th week of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League at Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Wednesday.
This victory brought Persis up to 15th place with 27 points, shifting Madura United who collected 26 points to 16th place, and they will only play their 29th week match against Dewa United Banten FC.
Bhayangkara, coming off a 2-1 victory over PSIM Yogyakarta in their last match, played aggressively from the start. They won a free kick in the third minute, and Moussa Sidibe stepped up to take it, giving his team a 1-0 lead.
This was Sidibe's eleventh goal for Bhayangkara after he was brought in in the second round.
After falling behind, Persis, chasing a win to escape the red zone, tried to respond. They attacked several times, but none of them resulted in a goal until the half-hour mark.
