Persija failed to continue their winning streak after being held to a draw by PSIM

Persija  failed to continue their winning streak in their previous two matches after being held to a 1-1 draw by hosts PSIM Yogyakarta at the Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Bali on Wednesday in Week 29 of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League.

In this match, PSIM, who moved their home ground from Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium to Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium and played the home match without spectators, managed to take an early lead through Ezequiel Vidal's goal in the 4th minute.

Starting with Deri Corfe's play on the left side of the attack, the Englishman passed the ball to Savio Sheva in the center of the penalty area. Sheva received the ball well, and his second touch immediately found Vidal, who was poised to shoot from the right.

With a low left-footed shot, Vidal beat Persija goalkeeper Eduardo. PSIM took an early 1-0 lead over Persija.

The goal stunned the Kemayoran Tigers. They slowly began to take control of the game, until a crucial moment came in the 18th minute when Allano Lima was fouled by Donny Warmerdam in the penalty area.
