Wahyu Pristiawan Buntoro, Secretary General of the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (PP FPTI), stated that the central and regional administrators are committed and solid in building a sports ecosystem that is close to the community
"The central and regional or provincial administrators have the same goal, namely to develop a rock climbing sport that is close to the community and achieves success. Therefore, I think it would be strange if they were not united," Wahyu said, commemorating the 38th anniversary of the PP FPTI, when contacted.
He explained that it is very important to maintain solidarity between the central and regional administrators in developing rock climbing sports sustainably throughout Indonesia.
He further explained that this synergy is also key to strengthening rock climbing's position as one of the flagship sports in the National Sports Grand Design (DBON), in order to improve Indonesia's achievements on the international stage.
According to him, a shared vision between the central and regional governments is the main foundation for creating a strong sports ecosystem, from early childhood development to improving athletes' achievements at the international level.
