Google Cloud President for Asia Pacific, Karan Bajwa, views Indonesia as a country with a very complete and comprehensive market due to its success in combining the strengths of traditional sector companies with an innovative digital ecosystem.
"The country (Indonesia) also boasts a very dynamic digital ecosystem, a developer ecosystem, and digital data. So, it's a very comprehensive and comprehensive market," Bajwa said on the sidelines of Google Cloud Next 26 in Las Vegas, United States.
Bajwa stated that Indonesia's attractiveness lies in its diverse customer base and its size. He believes mature sectors like banking, retail, and telecommunications in Indonesia demonstrate high technological readiness.
For example, he highlighted Indosat's move to accelerate AI transformation and aspire to transform from a telecommunications company into an AI TechCo.
