Google expanded the reach of its artificial intelligence services by introducing a Gemini app specifically for Mac a day after releasing the Gemini app for Windows.
According to Google stated that the Gemini application for macOS provides a " native desktop experience " that users can access using keyboard shortcuts.
Users can automatically open a mini-chat by pressing option and spacebar, or press option , shift, and spacebar to open a full Gemini chat. Users can customize these shortcuts in the app's settings.
Additionally, users can share anything on their screen, including files they have saved on the system, with the chatbot and ask questions about anything they see.
This can include anything from images to documents, and data to code.
There is also the option to share complete web pages with Gemini, not just what is on the user's screen.
