LavAni Livin' Transmedia secured a place in the grand final of the 2026 Proliga after defeating Jakarta Garuda Jaya with a score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-18) at the Sritex Arena Sports Hall, Solo, Central Java.
With their fourth win in the final four , LavAni secured the top spot in the standings with a collection of 12 points.
LavAni, who fielded their best composition, relying on the attacks of Boy Arnes and foreign player Taylor Sander, immediately put pressure on Garuda from the first set.
Entering the middle of the set, LavAni showed dominance as they widened the points gap and continued to lead until they opened up a lead in the first set with a score of 25-19.
Leading 1-0, LavAni changed their strategy by bringing on senior players Sigit Ardian and Dafa. Coach David Cameron Lee's strategy remained effective in maintaining the game's rhythm as they defeated Garuda 18-12.
Garuda Jaya continued to fight back, capitalizing on every mistake by their opponents to close the gap. However, the significant lead made it difficult for LavAni to catch up, ultimately securing the second set with a score of 25-21.
