Pakistani Defense Minister: Israel is evil and a curse upon humanity

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif launched a scathing attack on Israel, describing it as “evil and a curse on humanity,” prompting a swift Israeli response, at a time when raids on Lebanon continue despite the ceasefire brokered by Islamabad between the United States and Iran, which is preparing to host negotiations between the two sides on Saturday.
Israel is evil and a curse for humanity, while peace talks are underway in Islamabad, genocide is being committed in Lebanon. Innocent citizens are being killed by Israel, first Gaza, then Iran and now Lebanon, bloodletting continues unabated. I hope and pray people who created…

Asif accused Israel of “killing innocent civilians,” saying that it started in Gaza, then spread to Iran, and has now reached Lebanon, stressing that the bloodshed continues “relentlessly,” in one of the strongest Pakistani positions since the outbreak of the war.

He added in a striking statement: “I pray that those who created this cancerous state on Palestinian land to get rid of European Jews will burn in hell.”

These statements come after a temporary two-week truce was reached between Washington and Tehran through Pakistani mediation, in a move that paves the way for a possible agreement to end the war that broke out on February 28, leaving thousands dead and wounded.

In contrast, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the Pakistani Defense Minister's remarks as "provocative," stating that "such rhetoric cannot be accepted from any government, especially from a country that claims to be playing the role of a mediator seeking peace."

Despite Tehran and the Pakistani mediator confirming that Lebanon was included in the truce, both Washington and Tel Aviv denied this, while Israel continued its intensive raids on Lebanese territory.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the strikes killed more than 300 people and injured hundreds more during the first two days of the truce, while operations to recover victims from under the rubble and conduct tests to identify a number of them continued.

According to official figures, the toll of Israeli attacks on Lebanon from March 2 to April 9 has risen to 1,888 martyrs and 6,092 wounded, in addition to the displacement of about 1.6 million people, amid the widening scope of destruction and the continuation of raids.
