  First-placed Persib Bandung failed to widen the gap with Borneo FC after being held to a 0-0 draw by Arema FC in the 29th week of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung City, Friday night.

One point from the match against Arema FC makes Persib Bandung, who still sits at the top of the Super League standings, pocket 66 points and is only three points ahead of Borneo FC, who is in second place.

From the start, Persib dominated and immediately put pressure on Arema's defense. The first chance came in the third minute through a combination of Uilliam Barros and Andrew Jung, but the opposing goalkeeper was able to save it.

In the 11th minute, Marc Klok threatened again with a shot from inside the penalty box, but the ball soared over the crossbar.
