According to Gizmochina's release on Tuesday (21/4), the new tablet retains the compact form of its predecessor, but brings significant improvements to performance, screen, and battery.
The Redmi K Pad 2 features an 8.8-inch 3K LCD display with a resolution of 3008 x 1880 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz.
This panel, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, supports Dolby Vision and HDR and offers a peak brightness of up to 1100 nits.
The device's 16:10 aspect ratio and high pixel density display is designed to enhance both viewing and gaming experiences.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset in the Redmi K Pad 2 is combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Redmi K Pad 2 is also equipped with a Mali-G1 Ultra GPU chip and MediaTek 990 NPU to support artificial intelligence-based task handling.
