Persib Bandung goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam said that his clean sheet record this season was not only due to his own efforts, but also the hard work of all his teammates at Maung Bandung.
Teja said this after recording 16 clean sheets this season, after helping his team win 2-0 in the 26th week of the BRI Super League at Semen Padang's home ground at the Haji Agus Salim Stadium.
"This isn't just me, it's probably my teammates' hard work and good communication on the pitch. It's actually our teamwork during the game that's what keeps me consistently keeping clean sheets," Teja said, as quoted from the official I.League website on Tuesday.
His clean sheet record surpassed Andritany Ardhiyasa's previous record of 15 clean sheets in the 2022/2023 season. Back then, the Persija goalkeeper recorded 15.
Statistics show that Teja's 16 clean sheets came from 24 matches he played for 2,160 minutes, with 53 saves.
