This came in a statistical statement issued by the ministry, in which it said that the sector’s hospitals received during the past 24 hours “4 martyrs, including 1 new, and 3 recovered, in addition to 5 injured.”
From time to time, the ministry announces the recovery of the bodies of Palestinians who were killed during the months of Israeli extermination, and they are found in random graves, under the rubble of destroyed houses, or in areas that are usually difficult to access due to the presence of the Israeli occupation army.
The ministry did not mention the circumstances of the Palestinian’s death and the injury of the other five, but the Israeli occupation army commits daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, 2025, by shelling and shooting, resulting in casualties.
In this regard, the ministry said that the toll of victims of Israeli violations of the agreement since October 11 has reached “716 martyrs and 1,968 wounded”, and indicated that medical teams have recovered 759 bodies since that time, without specifying the areas where they were found.
Thus, the death toll from the Israeli genocide since October 2023 has risen to "72,292 martyrs and 172,073 wounded," according to the ministry's statement.
The agreement was reached two years after a genocidal war launched by Israel on October 8, 2023, with American support, which left massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
