Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is starting to think about early retirement in the near future.
Verstappen admitted that he has lost the passion and motivation to continue racing in Formula 1.
"Every day I wake up, I always try to convince myself. And I try to keep racing in Formula 1," Verstappen said, as quoted by Motorsport.
The Dutch racer had been thinking about hanging up his wheels for a long time after losing his ambition.
Moreover, the four-time world champion feels that the regulations set by the FIA for the 2026 Formula 1 season are disruptive to the essence of racing.
Verstappen is one of the drivers who has been vocal about the FIA's policy of implementing additional power in Formula 1 this season.
