Chinese technology company Xiaomi has reportedly hired former Tesla China General Manager Kong Yanshuang to lead its automotive sales efforts.
Carnewschina reported from Jiemian News on Wednesday local time, Kong is said to have joined Xiaomi in early March and will take over the position from Li Xiaorui, who currently serves as Director of Xiaomi Auto.
The leadership transition process is currently ongoing. Last month, Xiaomi also launched its latest electric vehicle model, the SU7.
According to Jiemian News, Kong Yanshuang is a key figure in Tesla China's executive ranks.
