Sony is preparing to launch its new Xperia phone, which will compete with the best phones currently available in terms of technology, performance, and photography capabilities.
The Xperia 1 VIII has a stylish body made of the finest materials, water and dust resistant according to the IP65/IP68 standard, dimensions of (162/74/8.3) mm, weight of 200 g, and is protected by an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus, which is shock and scratch resistant.
Its screen is a 6.5-inch LTPO OLED, with a resolution of (1080/2340) pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a density of approximately 396 pixels/inch.
The device runs on an upgradable Android 16 operating system, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor developed with 3nm technology, an Adreno 840 graphics processor, 12/16 GB of RAM, internal memory ranging in capacity from 256 GB to 1 TB, and is equipped with a microSDXC external memory card slot.
Its main camera came with a triple-lens setup with (48+48+48) megapixel resolution, including a periscope telephoto lens and an ultrawide lens, capable of recording 4K videos at 120 frames per second. Its front camera came with a resolution of 12 megapixels, also capable of recording 4K videos at 120 frames per second.
The phone is equipped with a Nano-SIM port and eSIM technology for connecting to cellular networks, a USB Type-C 3.2 port, an NFC chip, a fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 6.0 technology, and a 5000 mAh battery that works with a 30W fast wired charger and can be charged with a 15W wireless charger.
