The Daily Chairperson of the Gerindra Party's Central Executive Board, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the appreciation conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto to the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) was an expression that came from the bottom of his heart.
He said Prabowo's statement was sincere in his appreciation for PDIP Chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri. Prabowo expressed his gratitude for PDIP's services in a speech at the House of Representatives plenary session.
"We appreciate what the President has said to revive democracy," Dasco said after attending the Plenary Session of the Indonesian House of Representatives attended by President Prabowo at the parliamentary complex .
According to him, the criticisms delivered by various members of the PDIP faction in the Indonesian House of Representatives were constructive. This, he said, has been the case since President Prabowo's presidency.
