The Dewa United Banten basketball club successfully silenced Chinggis Brancos with a landslide score of 95-52 in the Final 6 phase of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Asia-East 2026 at Larkin Arena, Johor, Malaysia.
The two teams immediately engaged in an attacking exchange in the first quarter. Dewa United opened a 2-0 lead before Brancos responded and briefly turned the score around to 3-2.
Brancos' momentum was short-lived as coach Agusti Julbe Bosch's men slowly took control of the game through quick transitions and effective attacks that saw them turn the game around to lead 4-3 and then continue to lead until they reached 11-3.
Dewa United continued to attack to add points and suppress Brancos' comeback efforts until ending the first quarter with a score of 31-19.
Entering the second quarter, Brancos attempted to rally after falling significantly behind at the end of the first. The Mongolian club added consecutive points to narrow the gap to 24-34.
However, Dewa United once again showed their class. After being under pressure, they found their best touch. Their offense was very effective, especially exploiting gaps in the Brancos defense. A series of consecutive points from Kaleb Ramot Gemilang and his teammates led Dewa United to a 60-28 lead, ending the second quarter.
