Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI), Eddy Soeparno, supports President Prabowo Subianto's commitment to improving the management of natural resource (SDA) exports by establishing an export management agency.
In a statement received, Eddy said the step was in line with the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution to ensure that the management of natural resources is utilized to the maximum extent for the benefit of the people.
"This step to regulate commodity exports is crucial to ensure that Indonesia's rich natural resources truly provide optimal benefits to the country and its people," he said.
He assessed that so far there have been problems with reporting export values below the actual value and price transfers in the natural resource export trade system carried out by certain business actors.
