The Saudi Federation responded to the truth about the possibility of signing German coach Jurgen Klopp, the former manager of Liverpool FC, to coach the first football team of the Jeddah club.

Journalist Ben Jacobs relayed statements from officials at Saudi club Al-Ittihad regarding the signing of Jurgen Klopp to lead the team next season.
Ben Jacobs said: "Jurgen Klopp is an ideal target for Al-Ittihad Saudi Club, and despite serious interest in bringing the former Liverpool coach to the team, things have not progressed since Conceicao's departure."

He quoted statements from officials at the Jeddah club, saying: "The federation believes that convincing Klopp is almost impossible, as hconfirms his happiness at Red Bull and the club cannot provide the necessary financial support."
He added: "This situation will not change in the future except with additional support from the investment fund."
The club's management had decided to let go of the Portuguese Sergio Conceicao after the team failed to win any titles, having lost the Roshan League title, the King's Cup, and the AFC Champions League Elite Championship.
