Kiandra Ramadhipa finished the 2026 Catalunya Junior Moto3 in sixth place

Young Indonesian racer Kiandra Ramadhipa closed the first round of the 2026 Catalunya Moto3 Junior World Championship by finishing sixth in the second race at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit, Montmelo, Spain, on Sunday.

Ramadhipa returned to competitive form after competing at the front throughout the 14-lap race. The Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team rider even broke into the top three several times before finally finishing sixth, 0.252 seconds behind the winner.

The second race was won by Italian rider Giulio Pugliese of the CFMoto Aspar Junior Team, who finished in first place after a close battle until the final lap. Travis Borg finished second, while Fernando Bujosa completed the podium in third.

Starting the race from third on the grid, Ramadhipa dropped to seventh after the start. However, the driver with the number 32 on the grid recovered quickly and climbed to fourth on the second lap.

Leonardo Zanni then took the lead, opening a gap of more than a second over the pack. However, Zanni failed to finish the race after suffering a highside crash on the fourth lap.

After this incident, competition in the front group became more open. Pugliese took over the race lead, while Ramadhipa continued to guard his podium chances.
