MFoS 2026 demonstrates the strength of collaboration between the creative industry and motorsport

The 2026 Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFoS) will not only be a competitive arena for racers, but also demonstrate the growing collaboration between the creative industry and motorsports in Indonesia.

"This event not only presents competition, but also demonstrates the integration of the creative economy, sports, and tourism within a single ecosystem," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar in a statement received.

According to Irene, the creative industry has a broad scope and can be present through various media, including automotive visual design, which is now developing alongside the national racing ecosystem.

The collaboration is evident through the presence of various visual designs on racing vehicles that appeared in Radical Time Attack 2026 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circumstances
One of them is seen in the Radical SR1 XXR car driven by Erika Richardo and J Owen with a livery entitled "Starla x Roar", the result of a creative collaboration between SekuyaEvos and Tale X.

Maxdecal Project Director & RnD Nofian Hendra said that the current development of motorsport is not only related to vehicle performance, but also the visual identity that represents the team and racer.

"This participation reflects an effort to strengthen the synergy between the creative industry and the racing world in Indonesia," said Nofian.

According to him, the need for visual identity on the racetrack is growing along with increasing collaboration with the digital creative sector.

Livery on racing vehicles now not only functions as an aesthetic element, but also as a visual communication medium that shows the character of the team and the creative collaboration that has been built.

MFoS 2026 also features a number of other events such as the Liqui Moly Subaru BRZ Super Series 2026 and the debut of Indonesian racer Sean Gelael with the Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo at the GT World Challenge Asia 2026.

The presence of various creative collaborations on the Mandalika track is considered to demonstrate that the world of racing is no longer just a space for sporting competition, but also a platform for the development of local creative works at the national and international levels.
