Oppo is reportedly testing a 100 MP selfie camera sensor with a 1:1 aspect ratio or a rectangular shape for its future phones.
As an illustration, the front camera sensor with a 1:1 aspect ratio and should be square in shape, as Apple introduced on the iPhone 17 series .
As reported by Apple called this feature "Center Stage" which allows the camera to automatically frame shots in vertical and horizontal orientations without having to rotate the smartphone.
Oppo seems to be taking similar steps to bring this innovation to its line of Android smartphones.
This news first came from technology leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) who revealed that a smartphone manufacturer is currently evaluating a 1:1 square front camera sensor with a resolution of 100 MP.
