  The Indonesian Basketball Association  Central Executive Board has selected 15 players who will undergo national training for the FIBA ​​U18 Women's Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers 2026 in Bacolod, Philippines.

"The players who qualify will immediately continue training to prepare for the Southeast Asian qualifying tournament," said the head coach of the Indonesian U18 women's basketball team, Amin Prihantono.

He explained that the majority of the players selected were members of the squad that previously won the FIBA ​​U16 Women's Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers 2025 in Vietnam.

They then secured a ticket to the FIBA ​​U16 Women's Asia Cup Division B in September 2025.

The players include Inez Angelina Welly, Joanne Giovanni, Richelle Evelyn Widjaja, ⁠I Gusti Ayu Krisabella, Fiorenza Celesta, and Chloe Cathleen Cung.

He further explained that this experience is an important asset for competing for tickets to the main round at the Asian level later.

In addition to retaining a number of key players, the coaching team also introduced several new faces, including two diaspora players, namely Lora Aimee Concetta Lingga and Mabekou Talla Valeria, who were selected from five diaspora players who participated in the selection.
