Young Indonesian racer Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa learned many valuable lessons from his debut in the Junior Moto3 World Championship at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit, Spain, after being able to achieve a podium in the first race and again compete in the front group in the second race.
The PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) fostered racer who strengthens the Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team said the results in the opening round last weekend were important capital for facing the next round in Estoril, Portugal.
"In Race 2, I fought for the win again, so there are many positives we can take from this weekend. I'm confident we're moving in the right direction and will come back stronger at Estoril," Ramadhipa said in an official statement.
Ramadhipa concluded his debut weekend with a third-place finish in the first race and a sixth-place finish in the second. These results put the rider from Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region, in second place in the 2026 Moto3 Junior World Championship standings with 26 points.
In the first race, Ramadhipa, who started from third position, was able to compete at the front of the pack in a race that took place with track temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius.
The rider with the number 32 was involved in several tight battles and briefly led the race on the final lap. Ramadhipa then crossed the finish line in fifth place, 0.144 seconds behind the winner.
