Young Indonesian racer Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa moved up to second place in the provisional standings of the 2026 Moto3 Junior World Championship after revised results from the first race of the opening round in Catalunya officially earned him a podium finish.
Based on the latest standings update released by the FIM JuniorGP on Monday, Ramadhipa now has 26 points, an increase of five points compared to the previous standings.
"We ended the first weekend of MotoJunior with a positive result. Despite some initial difficulties, we were able to improve step by step with each session. Fortunately, we managed to achieve excellent qualifying results, making it easier to race from the front," said Ramadhipa in an official statement received.
The rise in position came after the two riders ahead of him in the first Catalunya race received an additional three-second penalty for violations when the yellow flag was waved.
The two racers who were sentenced were Carlos Cano from CFMoto Aspar Junior Team and Guillem Planques from Momoven Racing.
With the penalty, the results of the first race were revised and moved Ramadhipa up to third place behind Leonardo Zanni and Giulio Pugliese.
