The Rocket Racing Bali team supports young Indonesian racer Nadeem Zimraan Rustombi (19) as a Porsche GT3 driver in the superstar sportscar series class in the Mandalika Festival of Speed series at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), May 2-3, 2026.
"We want to launch young Indonesian racers to the international level," said Rocket Racing Bali CEO Purwo Handoko while participating in the GT World Challenge Asia racing event in Mandalika.
Nadeem, a young racer born in Palembang, will be appearing in the championship for the first time, so this event is a platform for him to prove his ability to compete on Indonesia's proud circuit.
"He once tried racing at the Mandalika Circuit a year ago with a time of 1 minute 36 seconds," he said.
Because the time recorded by the young racer was quite good, he continued, Rocket Racing Bali decided to collaborate with Nadeem to be the racer accompanying senior racer Aldio Oekon who was appointed as the team's main driver.
"Nadeem's presence is expected to be able to bring Indonesia's name to the international stage," he said.
