Singleton admits it won't be easy to beat Satya Wacana

Pelita Jaya  coach David Singleton said it was not easy to beat Satya Wacana Salatiga even though his team won by a large margin of 68-46.

According to him, Andakara Prastawa and his friends had difficulty developing their game, especially in attack.

"The game in general wasn't at its best, as we lost our rhythm, execution, and flow, making it feel more difficult than it looked on the scoreboard," Singleton said after the match against Satya Wacana at the Prof. Susilo Basketball Sports Hall in Semarang, Central Java.

He admitted that his team still had to improve several aspects, especially attacking transitions.

He assessed that his team had difficulty taking advantage of open opportunities several times and was unable to maintain consistency.

The American coach stated that Pelita Jaya held on in difficult situations throughout the match, but the lack of attacking effectiveness prevented the game from developing according to plan.

"Tonight didn't go well offensively, because if we had hit some open shots and made layups , it might have been a different story," said the four-time IBL Coach of the Year.
