Dr. Maria Matveeva, Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Modeling and Personalized Medicine at Novosibirsk State University, stated that electronic devices should not be used for 1-2 hours a day, and one day a week

According to her, this allows the brain to rest and relax.

She says: “The smartphone should be 40-50 cm away from the eyes, and the computer screen an arm's length away, with the top edge of the screen at eye level or slightly below. One to two hours should be spent daily, and one day a week, without using electronic devices. This is because the brain needs time to rest and work in 'default mode,' where it processes information, generates ideas, and relaxes.”

The doctor emphasizes that these recommendations are particularly important when a person frequently works with content generated by neural networks.

She says: "After working with artificial intelligence or digital content, move on to offline activities - such as walking, reading paper books, creative writing, and exercising."
