The Indonesian women's 3x3 basketball team failed to advance to the main round of the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Manila 2026 after suffering two defeats in the qualifying phase draw B at SM Mall of Asia (MoA), Manila, Philippines, on Thursday.
The Red and White squad, strengthened by Thasya Hery Saputera, Evelyn Fiyo, Diva Intan Nur Fadillah, and Angelica Jennifer Candra, had to admit Mongolia's superiority in the first match with a landslide score of 9-21.
Indonesia suffered another defeat in their second match against Singapore, losing 9-21.
This result left Indonesia in third place in the Draw B standings with 18 points, failing to secure a place in the main draw. Mongolia secured their qualification after defeating Singapore 18-16.
Although Indonesia has not yet been able to progress further, its participation in Manila is part of the team-building process for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
