The Israeli occupation army announced on Monday the death of one of its members in southern Lebanon on Sunday, bringing the number of its dead there since the outbreak of the war with Hezbollah on March 2 to 23.
The Israeli army said in a statement that the 19-year-old soldier “fell in battle in southern Lebanon,” without giving details.
Another soldier was seriously injured in the same incident, the Israeli army announced in a separate.
Israeli military operations in Lebanon continue despite the announcement of a ceasefire on April 17.
