Two Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza Strip

Two Palestinians were killed and others were injured on Friday in separate Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, as part of the daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, 2025.

In the latest developments, medical sources reported that Palestinian Louay Basal (27 years old) was killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing east of Gaza City.

Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli march targeted a motorcycle in the Asqoula area of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, resulting in one death and several injuries.

In a related context, local sources and eyewitnesses reported on Friday evening that the Israeli army targeted two houses in the Al-Bureij and Al-Nuseirat camps in the central Gaza Strip, following warnings to evacuate two residential blocks.

Earlier, medical sources said that Palestinian Raafat Adel Breika (42 years old) was killed by an Israeli drone strike northwest of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Witnesses reported that a quadcopter drone fired a bomb at a shepherd in the Al-Shakoush area, west of Rafah, resulting in his death.

They pointed out that the two areas targeted by the Israeli army are outside its control and deployment area under the agreement.

Simultaneously, Israeli artillery heavily shelled the eastern areas of Khan Yunis city (south), according to witnesses.

Since the agreement came into effect, the Israeli army has killed 883 Palestinians and injured 2,648 others in its violations through shelling and gunfire, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health on Thursday.

The agreement was reached two years after a genocidal war that Israel began on October 8, 2023, and which continued later in various forms, leaving more than 72,000 Palestinian martyrs, more than 172,000 wounded, and widespread destruction affecting 90 percent of the civilian infrastructure.
