Xiaomi has unveiled its new watch, which will compete with the best smartwatches currently available in terms of performance and specifications.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 has a stainless steel body and shockproof and scratch-resistant glass, with dimensions of (46/46/11) mm, weighing 46 g, and is water and dust resistant according to the 5ATM standard.
Its screen is an AMOLED type, measuring 1.48 inches, with a display resolution of (480/480) pixels, a density of approximately 459 pixels/inch, and a brightness of up to 2500 nits.
The watch runs on the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 system, and can pair with various types of phones and smart devices. It is also equipped with eSIM technology for connecting to cellular networks, and speakers and microphones for making voice calls.
It is also equipped with satellite positioning systems, an electronic compass, sensors to measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels, and applications to monitor physical fitness and the number of steps the user walks daily.
Xiaomi has equipped it with operating backgrounds to suit different user tastes, and has equipped it with an 815 mAh battery that is sufficient for it to operate for more than two weeks on a single charge. It will be released in the basic colors of black, silver and green.
