The Russian company "Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Association", which specializes in the manufacture of land and air carriers, has launched serial production of the new multi-purpose armored vehicle "Rekrot".

The magazine "Nizhny Novgorod Society" drew attention to the start of the vehicle's sales process in the market.

The company based its new armored vehicle on its proven off-road capabilities, enhancing its tactical specifications. The Rekrot is equipped with a 170-horsepower, 4.4-liter YaMZ-534 turbodiesel engine. Fuel consumption is 23 liters per 100 kilometers, and two 95-liter tanks allow for a range of over 800 kilometers without refueling.

The armored capsule has received BR4 category certification, and its armor can withstand bullets from the Makarov pistol, AK-47 and AKM Kalashnikov rifles, as well as a sniper shot from the Dragunov rifle.

The vehicle can withstand the explosion of 600 grams of TNT. There are three variants: a ground transport vehicle, a pickup truck, and an ambulance. The cargo version can be converted into a platform for carrying drones, air defense systems, or radar equipment if required.

The vehicle costs approximately 15 million rubles (around $200,000). The customer has the opportunity to choose not only the body type but also its color, with eight paint options available, including several camouflage patterns.
