Dewa United Banten basketball player Donell Cooper reminded all his teammates to stay focused for the 2026 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) semifinal match, which will be held for the first time in a best-of-five format .
The American player emphasized that Dewa United's success in advancing to the semifinals was the result of the hard work of all the players throughout the season, one of which was being able to maintain focus in every match.
"They work hard every day and now the results of that hard work are starting to show," Cooper told the club's.
He explained that the next phase of the competition would be tougher, as opponents continued to show improved performance and were motivated to go all-out .
The guard admitted that, despite having the highest assist statistics during the regular season and until the first round of the playoffs , the positive contribution of each player was much more important in bringing victory to the team.
" Assists are a statistic that comes from team play, and my teammates have been outstanding throughout this season," he said.
