Member of Commission II of the House of Representatives , Muhammad Khozin, has asked the government to immediately implement a financing formula for government employees with work agreements in the regions through the state budget, especially for regions with weak fiscal capacity.
In a statement received , Khozin said this step was crucial to address the ongoing PPPK salary issues in several regions.
"We urge the central government to concretely allocate PPPK funding to regions with weak fiscal positions using state budget instruments," he said.
He mentioned that some PPPK workers still receive salaries of around Rp1 million per month. In fact, he said, some PPPK have not received their salaries for three months, as is the case with hundreds of PPPK in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi.
Khozin reminded that Commission II of the House of Representatives , along with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, had previously agreed that the central government would finance PPPK in certain regions through the state budget.
