Five years of the first pan-African channel [Night Shift]

 

A special edition of Night Shift airs this Tuesday, April 21st, to celebrate Africanews' 5th anniversary. Among other topics, we'll be reporting on the death of Chadian President Idriss Deby Itno in clashes with rebels in the north of the country.

We also take a look at the media coverage of Africanews, the first pan-African multilingual news channel which is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

Finally, Saudi activist Loujain al-Hathloul , who campaigned to end the ban on women driving, won the first European Human Rights Prize.
