According to Liverpool's official website, the 22-year-old's transfer is still pending the completion of work permits and international administrative processes.
Liverpool did not disclose the transfer fee for Munoz. Several reports suggest the Reds paid the player's release clause for 40 million euros.
Munoz has undergone a medical at the Spanish national team's training camp in Tennessee, United States, amidst his commitments to representing his country at the 2026 World Cup. He has also signed a long-term contract with the Reds.
Munoz's signing marks Liverpool's first new addition since the arrival of head coach Andoni Iraola.
The striker will join his new teammates after the 2026 World Cup. He was named in Spain's 2026 World Cup squad thanks to an impressive season with Osasuna.
In the 2025/26 season, he made 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
Munoz has made two appearances for La Roja and scored on his debut against Serbia in March.
Before joining Osasuna last summer, Munoz was a product of Real Madrid's academy.
