Persijap Jepara has extended the contract of head coach Mario Lemos for the 2026/2027 BRI Super League season.
Quoted from the official I.League website, Thursday, Persijap Jepara President M. Iqbal Hidayat emphasized that the decision to extend Mario Lemos' contract was based on the achievements and real contributions he had made to the team.
"Management still has faith in Mario Lemos for next season because he has achieved his performance and the target of staying in the Super League," said Iqbal.
"With various maneuvers in the second round, Mario successfully demonstrated his excellent work ethic. The team recorded nine wins, nine draws, and 16 losses, accumulating 36 points," he continued.
Mario Lemos previously managed Persijap Jepara since the start of the 2025/2026 Super League season, but was replaced midway through by Divaldo Alves, who then took over as Technical Director.
