BRI Super League club Persik Kediri announced the release of midfielder Syahrian Abimanyu in this summer's transfer window.
As reported on the club's official Instagram post on Monday, Persik Kediri expressed their gratitude to Syahrian Abimanyu after he spent a season defending the White Tigers.
"It's been a season full of struggle, dedication, and hard work with the White Tigers. Thank you for the dedication and hard work you've put into Persik Kediri throughout the 2025/2026 season," the post read.
"May success accompany every step of your journey, Syahrian Abimanyu. Once a Purple, Always a Purple ," the post continued.
In the 2025/2026 BRI Super League season, the 27-year-old appeared in 11 matches, totaling only 306 minutes of playing time.
After officially leaving Persik Kediri, Syahrian Abimanyu was officially announced as a new player for the Championship club PSIS Semarang.
The player, born in Banjarnegara, Central Java, previously played for Persija for three seasons before joining Persik Kediri at the start of the 2025/2026 season.
Previously, Syahrian Abimanyu played for Sriwijaya FC, Madura United, Johor Darul Tazim (Malaysia) and Newcastle Jets (Australia).
Meanwhile, he also had experience at the junior level in Spain with the LUD Academy and domestically defending the Persija Jakarta junior team.
