 BRI Super League club Persita Tangerang officially announced its separation from midfielder Bae Sin Yeong after five seasons together.

Quoted from the club's official website, Thursday, Persita Tangerang thanked Bae Sin Yeong for five years of dedication, sweat and memories.

"Persita Tangerang management would like to express its deepest gratitude to Bae Sin Yeong for all his contributions, professionalism, and loyalty during his five years with the club," the club's official statement read.

"The number 33 he wore will always be remembered as a symbol of the hard work and sincerity of a fighter in the Pendekar Cisadane midfield," the statement continued.

During his five seasons with Persita Tangerang, the 34-year-old made 148 appearances for Pendekar Cisadane in various competitions, contributing a total of six goals and 10 assists.

Born on June 11, 1992 in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, South Korea, Bae Sin Yeong started his professional career with Suwon FC in K League 2 in January 2015. His journey took him through several clubs and loans before finally landing in Indonesia.

During his time with Persita Tangerang, Bae Sin Yeong was known as a figure who truly blended in with the culture, supporters, and daily life of Tangerang.

The South Korean player did not hesitate to express how the support of Persita Tangerang supporters was one of the reasons for his good performance on the field.

In addition, when he is off the field, Bae Sin Yeong is known as a warm and adaptable person, so he had no difficulty adapting to his new environment.
