The Saudi Arabian national football team is entering the 2026 World Cup with a mix of experienced and new generation players, who are expected to bring their ambition to perform at their best on the world's most prestigious stage.
The FIFA website, Wednesday, stated that the national team nicknamed The Green Falcons or Green Eagles is one of the Asian representatives who secured a place in Group H in the upcoming World Cup edition, which will be held in the United States (US), Canada, and Mexico.
This participation marks their seventh appearance at the World Cup finals, and their third in a row after the 2018 and 2022 editions.
Saudi Arabia qualified through the Asian Qualifiers after competing with a number of regional powers and securing a ticket to the world's biggest football tournament.
FIFA noted that Saudi Arabia secured qualification after a goalless draw against Iraq in October 2025, which secured their place at this year's World Cup.
