The Indonesian Football Association sets salary limits for teams participating in the 2027 Proliga

The Central Board of the All-Indonesia Volleyball Association  has established a salary cap policy for all participating teams in the 2027 Proliga, both men's and women's divisions, in order to create a more transparent and competitive competition.

Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PBVSI), Imam Sudjarwo, explained that the policy would limit the total salary for 12 local players in one team to a maximum of IDR 600 million per month.

"Then for foreign players, the salary limit is 40,000 US dollars per month in one team for two foreign players, so one foreign player's maximum salary is 20,000 US dollars or around Rp357 million," he said at the General Police Kunarto Volleyball Padepokan, Sentul, West Java.

Imam further explained that the implementation of the salary limit will be accompanied by a strict monitoring system to prevent violations and non-transparent contract practices.

PBVSI will involve the Supervisory Board and independent auditors to examine the contract documents of foreign players registered by clubs.

Imam stated that every club is required to submit foreign player data to the PP PBVSI no later than one month before the competition begins.

All documents will then be audited by a supervisory team consisting of two PBVSI representatives and one external auditor.
