Indonesian women's national volleyball team captain Tisya Amallya Putri said her team is striving to strengthen the chemistry between senior and junior players as a key asset to achieving a top-four finish in the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Cup in the Philippines.
According to him, in addition to the technical aspects and strengthening the mentality of each player, efforts to mature the cohesiveness and communication between players must be carried out continuously before appearing at the Candon City Arena, Philippines on June 6-14.
"The collaboration is quite good, because the juniors are not just any players, they have also played for the national team in their age group before," said Tisya after the farewell of the Indonesian women's national volleyball team at the General Police Kunarto Volleyball Padepokan, Sentul, West Java.
He explained that collaboration between senior and junior players had been positive during the preparation period.
The star player is optimistic that successfully building chemistry will be one of the keys to achieving the target of at least reaching the top four in the tournament.
